L’incroyable histoire vraie, de trente femmes, qui, défiant les conventions, au sein d’une armée non féminisée, ont débarqué en Normandie et libéré la France !
En 1939, Jacqueline alors en voyage à New York, se retrouve plongée dans les tourments de l’exil. Elle va croiser la route de Florence Conrad, une riche et excentrique américaine, qui a comme idée folle de monter la première unité féminine d’ambulancières de front. Y voyant son ticket retour, Jacqueline va s’engager, sans le savoir, dans une épopée qui marquera l’histoire.
